This new wooden vacation home is located within walking distance of the unique Nije Hemelriek, a sand quarry where the water is so clear and cold that it takes your breath away. Surrounded by heathlands and centuries-old esdorp villages, with the Gieten-Borger Forest District just around the corner and Drentsche Aa National Park within cycling distance, you’ll find hiking and biking trails here for everyone—from leisurely forest strolls to challenging mountain bike trails through the rolling countryside.

A home that welcomes you

De Kuifkwekker is a detached wooden house full of character. The large garden offers plenty of space: relax on the lounge chairs in the afternoon or evening sun, barbecue at the outdoor dining table until dark, or snuggle up by the decorative fireplace in the evening while the trees rustle outside. The hot tub with jets is the perfect way to end a day outdoors: step in, let the warm water do its work, and forget all about home for a moment in this wonderful spot The house is fully accessible on one level and well-equipped with, among other things, a Nespresso machine, air conditioning, a Smart TV with Netflix, and an induction cooktop.
